The Rolling Wrench microprocessor CDI / Coil combo is one of the best bang-for-the-buck upgrades you can make to a Honda Ruckus GET motor. It’s a true plug-and-play unit that replaces your stock CDI and ignition coil with one all-in-one performance module — no cutting, no splicing, no weird wiring headaches.
What does it actually do? It removes the stock rev limiter, advances ignition timing, and delivers a much hotter spark through its built-in 32kV coil (vs. roughly 15kV stock). The result is quicker acceleration, better pull, and more top speed if your setup is already hitting the factory limiter.
Install takes about 20 minutes, especially if you follow the included video. For many riders, this is one of the easiest ways to wake up a stock Ruckus and make it feel much less held back by the factory tune.

Important Things to Note 🚨
- Fits Honda Ruckus 2002–Present with GET 49cc engine only.
- Does NOT fit the Honda Zoomer.
- Best top speed gains happen if your bike is already hitting the stock rev limiter. If not, the main benefit will usually be stronger acceleration.
- Results will vary depending on rider weight, altitude, terrain, model year, and other engine mods.
- Because this unit produces a stronger spark and burns fuel more efficiently, some setups may run slightly lean and may require rejetting.
- Factory rev limiter is approximately:
- 2002–2006: ~8000 RPM
- 2006–Present: ~8850 RPM
- Yes, it will still work with a 14-inch stretched Ruckus.
- No special tools are required — this is a true plug-and-play install.

Real-World Results
Other modifications in the 20 MPH test included a big carb, CVT kit, and exhaust. Testing was done at around 5,700 feet above sea level, where thinner air costs roughly 20% power. At sea level, results can be even stronger.

Amazing! Noticable difference, finally hit the limit on the speedometer.
From skeptical to convinced… Worried me to change a newish ruck that was otherwise working great, but I can say after plenty of thorough use that I’m happy I did! I’ve personally combined this with a 38/78 jet setup, performance exhaust, k&n filter, polini variator with 5.5 & 6 gram sliders and the Kevlar belt. ~Thanks! :)
This CDI or EVI helped achieve a higher top speed for my ruckus. In my experience, it's best paired with a performance exhaust and bigger jetting for the carburetor, 38 pilot and 80 main.
