The Details ⚙️

A failing or weak regulator can cause high voltage spikes, which burn out bulbs, stress wiring, ruin batteries, and damage electrical components. Replacing it early helps protect your system and keeps everything charging as it should.

To test your charging system, use a voltmeter set to **DC** and let the scooter idle, then hold a steady **3000 RPM**:

• ✔️ Charging voltage should read between 13v–15v
• ✔️ Test only with a properly charged, healthy battery

If your readings are high, low, or bouncing around — your regulator is likely the culprit.
