The Details ⚙️

This ProBld lightweight gear-up system is designed to give you the best of both upgrades: reduced rotational mass for quicker revs, and a taller final drive ratio for higher top speed. The lighter gearing makes your engine spin up faster than traditional gear-up kits, which helps balance out the natural low-end loss that comes with taller gearing.

Depending on your setup, you may notice reduced low-speed torque — that’s normal when increasing final drive. If your engine already has solid torque, this kit will shine. If not, pairing it with upgrades like a variator slider, CVT tuning, or a big bore kit will make a huge difference 💪

Installation is straightforward and only requires basic hand tools and a press. If you don't have access to a press, no problem — we offer a pre-pressed option so the gears arrive ready to drop in.

Designed, tested, and run on multiple GY6 builds — this setup wasn’t guessed, it was dialed in through real miles.

Important Things to Note 🚨

  • Designed for QMI152 or QMJ157 (GY6) engines — including swapped Ruckus setups.
  • Expect a slight low-end loss unless your build already has added torque.
  • Best installed during a CVT service or gearbox maintenance.
  • If selecting the pressed version, install becomes plug-and-play 🧩
  • Will not fit the QMK161 engine (the pressed gear we use is different)
