The Details ⚙️
If you’re converting your Honda Ruckus to a GY6 150cc setup — this is where it starts. This A-block engine (54mm stud spacing) is the foundation for a proper swap, and can also be used as a replacement for stock 150cc Chinese scooter engines.
To put it in perspective: the stock 50cc GET motor makes around 2.5hp. This GY6 engine delivers roughly 8hp — over 3x the power, completely transforming how the bike rides.
Each engine comes pre-installed with performance brake shoes and is lightly coated with shipping oil for protection. Because these engines come from multiple manufacturers, cosmetic details like the kickstart cover may vary slightly from photos.
This is the standard go-to for Ruckus swaps — simple, proven, and a massive upgrade 🔧🔥

What a great entry level up grade for you’re Honda Ruckus. The basis to start a great build comes from a good start. With this motor and a few bolt on items this motor is capable of 60+ mph. Just what I was looking for to feel safer riding in traffic. Only thing better would be to upgrade to the 170cc. But for ballin on a budget this is the motor to purchase.
I but the 150cc in 2023 and a lot more parts from rolling wrench. And the best part is sporting the rolling wrench badge when I'm riding.
Good quality engine haven’t got it swapped in yet but can tell its good for the price especially if you want a fresh motor to start a build off of!
