GY6 18 Pole Charging System & DC Ignition System Upgrade Kit

If you have a GY6(qmj157) that was made to run on an 8 or 11 pole stator and want to upgrade your charging system to an 18 pole system and also want to upgrade to a DC ignition system in the process, this is the kit! Simply remove your old 8 or 11 pole stator, magneto, rectifier regulator, ignition coil, and CDI box and install this stuff.

This kit is 90% plug and play.  You will need to find a nice spot to mount the rectifier regulator and the provided Performance CDI coil combo. It will not mount in the original location. You will need to tap a 12vDC power source for the CDI/Coil power with the provided power clip.

The 18 pole stator is the largest stator that can be installed in a GY6 (qmj157). A DC CDI is a must with this 18 pole stator. This stator is a beast! Run 65w headlight, an EFI system, a stereo system and show light ! It’s a giant upgrade over 8, 11 and 12 pole stators. The DC cdi coil combo has  a micro processor that advances the timing and increased the spark in a major way, and deletes the rev limiter! These are very reliable units “Made in Taiwan” not China. The rectifier regulator is made in the same factory as Kymco (one of the most reliable brands in the scooter world). Needless to say this kit is the best of the best.
