After years of testing just about every tire option available for the Honda Ruckus and Metruck platform, we’ve seen everything — tires that leak around the bead, tires that don’t seat properly, and tires with sizing that just doesn’t match real-world fitment. When Michelin discontinued the Pure Pilots (one of our longtime favorites), we went searching again for a true replacement.

The Michelin City Grip 2 has become the new go-to. It fits the 12x4 setup perfectly, looks clean, beads easily, and performs way above average in both wet and dry riding conditions. Michelin really dialed in the rubber compound and tread design on this one — it’s not just a replacement for the discontinued tire… it’s an upgrade.
