Want real power gains from your Kymco 50? This Malossi big bore kit bumps your engine from 49cc to a true 72cc — giving you stronger takeoff, better top speed, and the hill-climbing power your stock setup never had.
The Details
Installing this kit will nearly double your takeoff power, give you a noticeable top-speed increase, and—most importantly—stop the dreaded slow-down when climbing hills. Because the new displacement is larger, you may need to rejet your carburetor for the best performance and reliability.
With 2-stroke Kymco engines, it’s critical to add about 1 oz of oil to your fuel tank at every fill-up. The factory oil injection pump was designed for a 49cc engine, so this small extra oil keeps your upgraded 72cc cylinder properly lubricated.
This Malossi kit is made in Italy by one of the most respected performance scooter manufacturers in the world. It uses a durable cast-iron cylinder with optimized cooling surfaces, enlarged and reshaped transfer ports, a reinforced wrist pin, and a high-silicon-content piston alloy for long-lasting reliability.
