This performance CDI coil combo is specifically designed for the Honda Ruckus (GET 49cc engine only). This is a performance CDI box and coil in one. There is no need to purchase a CDI box or a performance coil. This is an all-in-one solution. We have made this unit plug and play. No cutting or splicing wires of any type. 20 minute install. The "EVI Motor Brain" is loaded with performance functionality. It has a microprocessor to carry out multiple functions. It advances the timing (resulting in better acceleration), removes the rev limiter (resulting in better top speed), and has an integrated high voltage ignition coil (resulting in a much better spark at the start of combustion). This results in an engine torque increase. We have hit 60mph with this installed.

**THIS WILL NOT WORK ON A HONDA ZOOMER**

VERIFY YOU ARE HITTING YOUR STOCK REV LIMIT FIRST. OTHERWISE, YOU WON'T SEE TOP SPEED BENEFITS, ONLY ACCELERATION BENEFITS.

Results WILL vary, depending on modifications already done, weight of the rider, altitude, terrain & year of Ruckus. We cannot promise the same results we achieved based on that.

2002-2006 Ruckus factory rev limiter is set at 8000rpm. (Video testing was done on a 2006).

2006-2023 Ruckus factory rev limiter is at 8850rpm.

 This setup will work even if your Ruckus is stretched (up to a 14" stretch).

How does it work?

Our microprocessor EVI bypasses the stock Honda Ruckus ignition system completely, so no need to worry about blowing the $500 Honda ECU like we have seen when the NCY CDI boxes go bad. It is replaced by a tuned and tested system which is a much, much better solution. Within the software, the rev limiter has been removed and the timing has been advanced. This results in better acceleration and better top speed. Because the performance integrated coil provides a spark that is much much better then stock, it burns the fuel more efficiently, sometimes resulting in a lean fuel mixture (depending on your current tune). Although it's rare, sometimes re-jetting is needed. Almost always, the idle will need to be turned down (due to the advanced timing and spark efficiency).

Other modifications included a big carb, CVT kit and exhaust to achieve these speeds. To make these results even better, we are a mile above sea level at 5700 feet. We loose 20% of our power up here because of the thin air. Imagine if we did this same test at sea level in Florida or California...
