If your GY6 harness was originally designed for an 8-pole stator, you can’t just drop an 11-pole stator in and call it a day. The 11-pole system uses a different rectifier regulator and includes an extra power wire that your harness simply doesn’t have. That’s why this kit exists — it gives you everything you need for a proper, reliable upgrade.

Installation is super straightforward: remove your 8-pole stator and regulator, bolt in the new 11-pole setup, and connect the included wiring. The kit is **100% plug-and-play** — every connector and wire is already made to fit, so there’s no cutting, soldering, or guesswork. The only custom step you'll need to do is find a good mounting spot for the new rectifier regulator since it won’t fit in the original location.

This upgrade is extremely popular with **RZR 170** owners, **Icebear Maddog** scooters, and really any GY6-powered machine. Just keep in mind: your headlight will need a DC conversion or it won’t work. For Maddog owners, we make this painless by including the DC headlight wire in the Maddog-specific kit option.
