Wave Cut Floating Brake Rotor 220mm
These 220mm brake rotors are great quality and have every feature you would want in a rotor. First they are massive for a scooter at 220mm (the larger the disk the cooler it stays resulting in better stopping power and keeps the life of the brake pads longer). Second they are wave cut rotors. Wave cut rotors are lighter, have better heat transfer and the stopping power is better. Third, they are floating rotors, rather than a single plate rotors, floating rotors are two piece. This keeps the rotor cooler because the stainless steel rotor is connected to its joining aluminum fixture plate. This aluminum keeps the rotor nice and cool. But more importantly the floating rotors allows the brake pads to stay in contact with the rotor during braking. A single plate rotor can be warped and hop along the brake pads. LONG STORY SHORT!
