GY6 Rectifier Regulator

Is your scooter blowing out light bulbs, batteries and not hold a charge? This could be your problem. A bad rectifier regulator could cause your scooter to over charge, resulting in blown light bulbs, batteries and other costly electrical parts. You can chack the charging system on your scooter with a volt meter set to DC. With the scooter running the voltage should be between 13v-15v. Also test this at a steady 3k rmps. Be sure the battery is fully charged and good before trying this test.
